Foxton Locks is an ideal area for a stroll or walk with your dog, but if you don’t know the area it may be hard to know where to go, so we’ve compiled this list of long and short walks. Remember if you need a dog friendly pub to take a break, pop into the Foxton Locks Inn along your travels and join the K9 club.

On Sunday 15th of June, 20th July and 17th of August 2014, Children between 7-14 years of age can book in and become a lock keeper for an hour. Booking is essential and spaces are limited.

If you go down to Foxton Locks over August Bank Holiday your sure of a big surprise! Over the weekend 24th of August you can follow the Teddy Trail, giving discounts and offers at the museum, coffee shop, Foxton Locks Inn and on boat trips.

Foxton Locks Festival is an annual event run by the voluntary organisation, Foxton Incline Plane Trust and will be taking place on 29 & 30 June 2013 from 10am.
It is a great day out for all the family and hosts hands-on activities, live music, craft stalls, a real ale tent and a food village. This year there are over 100 stalls and plenty of fun fair rides for all to enjoy.
The entry is £4.00 for an adult and all children under the age of 16 go free.
