Foxton Locks is an ideal area for a stroll or walk with your dog, but if you don’t know the area it may be hard to know where to go, so we’ve compiled this list of long and short walks. Remember if you need a dog friendly pub to take a break, pop into the Foxton Locks Inn along your travels and join the K9 club.

On Sunday 15th of June, 20th July and 17th of August 2014, Children between 7-14 years of age can book in and become a lock keeper for an hour. Booking is essential and spaces are limited.

We are serving our usual menu with sittings available in the main pub between:
- 12-12:30 arrival – vacate table by 2:15
- 2:30 arrival – vacate table by 4:30
- 5:00 arrival – vacate by 7:00
Alternatively in the boathouse (or if the weather is favourable then we will move all these bookings to the terrace)
- 12:45 – 11:05 arrival – vacate table by 3:00
- 3:15pm arrival – vacate by 7:00

Fed up of paying extra for Valentine’s dining? Or just want to keep things simple? This year at Foxton Locks Inn, the Ryan West & Friends band will be playing romantic tunes throughout the evening of February 14th. We will be serving our winter menu as normal; no supplements and no hidden extras.
In fact, dine between 5pm and 7.45pm and you will receive a complimentary bottle of house wine per table.

Dress up and get into the Halloween spirit! We hope to see lots of ghosts, witches, zombies, monsters, wizards and ghouls. Bring along your pre-carved pumpkins and enter the competition for the scariest pumpkin carving.
As part of our celebrations, children will have a Halloween treat of a free meal on Thursday 31st October when accompanied by a paying adult.
You can also win prizes for the best pre-carved pumpkins. Young diners are invited to bring along their carved pumpkins for judging by owner Stephanie Hamblin at 6.30pm.
The restaurant will be decorated in a suitably spooky theme and there will also be small gifts for those in fancy dress.
Young Halloween diners can choose from sausage mash and peas, chicken nuggets, fries and beans, cheese and tomato pizza, fries and salad, hamburger with fries or fish fingers, fries and beans with an ice cream dessert. There will be one free child’s meal for every accompanying adult meal.
If you go down to Foxton Locks over August Bank Holiday your sure of a big surprise! Over the weekend 24th of August you can follow the Teddy Trail, giving discounts and offers at the museum, coffee shop, Foxton Locks Inn and on boat trips.
