Welcome to the Foxton Locks Inn & The Old Boathouse website
Nestled at the bottom of the famous staircase of 10 locks on the Grand Union Canal, this picturesque inn is the perfect place to enjoy a pint and some excellent food, whilst exploring the history and beauty of the Foxton Locks country park.
Open all day, everyday , you can pop in for a pot of tea or a pint of award winning real ale - there are 6 to choose from - or enjoy a leisurely lunch on the heated waterside terrace.
Dinner can be a romantic occasion with a pretty view of the softly lit canal and warm hospitality provided by the friendly staff.
A great family pub Foxton Locks Inn is child friendly complete with baby changing facilities and provides a separate children's menu.
Dogs are very welcome on the heated terrace and at specially assigned tables inside - so there is no need for dog walkers to go without (please let us know when making a reservation if your dog(s) will be joining you.
The Old Boathouse
The Old Boathouse next door has been lovingly renovated into a contemporary room with it's own private waterside terrace and bar. This beautiful building is used throughout the summer and at weekends as a snack and coffee bar. Customers can sit and relax on the sunny terrace and watch the boats and ducks go by on the canal.
The Old Boathouse is available for private hire throughout the year and is the perfect venue for your special occasion be it a wedding reception or birthday party.
