Join us at The Foxton Locks Inn for Burns Night, a night celebrating the life and literature of poet Robert Burns.

Burns Night is celebrated world over, it’s a night where Scotland lead the celebrations of the legacy of one of the world’s most famous literary figures, Robert ‘Rabbie’ Burns.

Five years after his death, the first Burns supper was held to celebrate his life and his poetry. Since then Scotland and now the world has celebrated the day annually.

Burns Night evening fills an altogether cold January evening with warmth and fun. The tradition makes Burns night a must- an evening steeped with history and culture.

Foxton Locks Inn has run Burns night events for several years. To mark the occasion in 2016 we be providing a special 4 course supper, including the traditional haggis (vegetarian options available). To set the scene we will be accompanied by our resident piper and a quiz will be held, with prizes being available throughout the evening.

Taking place on the night itself, Monday 25th January 2016, tickets are available for only £20 per person. Booking in advance is essential.
